Donna
Burick, Owner
Donna Burick is a recognized expert in the fitness industry and
has been a personal trainer for more than 20 years. She was successful
as a group fitness instructor and fitness director in the Detroit
area before opening her own fitness studio in May of 2005. Through
her company, 3dFit, Donna presents a full series of classes, including
spinning, Pilates, kick boxing, yoga and sports conditioning. She
is best known for her signature BootCamp, a highly concentrated
4 hour a day, 5 day a week program designed to kick-start a workout
program or push through plateaus.
Donna holds certifications from both ACE and ISSA and a spinning
certificate from Johnny G.
Her passion for healthy living is the basis for inspiring people,
including models and pageant contestants, kids of all ages and individuals
with a sincere interest in fitness and sound nutrition. Donna's
philosophy of motivating her clients through accountability and
consistency to help them see their potential is her greatest reward.
The importance of building personal relationships with those she
trains through coaching and follow-up has proven extremely successful.
She recently launched a new corporate wellness program with the
goal of providing employees with a sound fitness and nutrition plan
to help reduce health care costs and increase productivity.
Her studio has expanded to triple its size since opening and now
includes a spa with specialized services including massage, facials,
manicures and pedicures.
Through all of her education and training it is Donna's desire
to reach out to as many people as possible to impress upon them
the importance of "fitness", and to provide instructors,
personal trainers, coaches and people who hire her with innovative
ideas to reach their goals.

Tom
Burick
Tom Burick is one of the owners of 3dfit, Inc. and a 3dfit master
trainer. Along with his wife, Donna, founded the company with the
three major factors they feel relate to training: Desire, Discipline
and Dedication. Tom is adamant that nutrition is the groundwork
that gets your program off the ground and fuels results. An advocate
for a healthy lifestyle, he thinks resistance training is an essential
part to any program, along with cardiovascular training and, of
course, a good sound nutrition plan.
Tom has trained a wide variety of clients to achieve their individual
goals. In the last year has had 3dfit hand picked to begin training
at Power Shot Hockey Academy in Livonia owned by former NHL star
Mike Donnelly and St. Louis Blues scout Craig Channell.
Tom is currently training to step on stage in competitive bodybuilding
and is able to help anyone interested in doing the same. He has
a great network of top athletes in the field and can have any question
answered with fact-based research.
"I can't stress enough to my clients that a good nutrition
plan is key to success. Once you start to see results from our guidance,
you get hooked and when that happens, look out. That is when the
client sees what hard work and planning can do for them."
Sarah
Queen
Sarah Queen has been a Certified Fitness Trainer for three years
and has worked as a class instructor teaching spinning, kickboxing,
Pilates, and step aerobics. She is currently the Manager of 3d-fit
and trains mainly out of the 3d-fit headquarters in Trenton.
Her fitness journey began 3 years ago when she decided to start
trying to lose weight. Since 2005, Sarah has lost 96 lbs. and gained
a whole new life and career! The reason for her success has been
3d-fit and its support and her desire to beat the hardest obstacles
in life. Her advice to anyone looking to make a change is "If
you can dream it, you can be it. The only one who can make it happen
is you!"
Sarah's passion for health and fitness has made every aspect of
her life better by helping her on stage as an actor and comedian.
" If you can be confident in yourself, you can have it all."
John
McCarthy
John McCarthy has been a personal trainer for two and a half years,
with a certification from the National Personal Training Institution
(NPTI). Currently, he is attending Wayne County Community College
and will finish at Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science
in Dietetics.
The gym and health are John's top priority. Helping others reach
their fitness and health goals is his motivation. When training
he is ready for his clients to pick his brain for any questions
that they might have for health and fitness. Sharing his own knowledge
is what makes his clients break through their boundaries and reach
past their plateaus.
John preaches that it is essential to LIVE a fundamental healthy
lifestyle. Diet, motivation to workout, and a support system are
the three key items to keep you healthy and fit. It may be difficult
at first to juggle these three key concepts but if you pace yourself
and take one day at a time, success is on the way.
Tracy
Olender
Like many others, Tracey was athletic and fit without paying too
much attention to what she ate. It wasn't until a knee injury sidelined
her ability to play sports that she had her only experience with
weight gain. Hanging out and eating pizza without exercising caught
up with her fast. Not only did her physical appearance change but
her personality and attitude did as well. She was no longer a happy,
confident person. Tracey quickly realized that she needed to get
back to that healthy person. Paying attention to the foods that
she ate, making healthy choices, and getting back to her fitness
regimen did the job. In a short period of time, she lost 39 pounds
and felt great again. Tracey was so inspired that she got certified
as an instructor and began teaching community fitness classes.
For 19 years, she has immersed herself in knowledge related to
exercise and nutrition. Tracey recently decided to make this passion
her profession and became certified through ISSA as a personal fitness
trainer. Fitness is not just an important part of Tracey's life,
it is a big part of who she is. Exercise is incorporated into her
life each and everyday. She doesn't look at exercise as something
she has to do but as something she gets to do. Working out is not
a chore but a privilege. This positive mindset (not to mention great
abs) is just one of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
It's never too late to start-YOUR healthy lifestyle begins now!
Marc
Strawser
Marc currently attends Wayne State University, majoring in Exercise
Physiology. Marc chose this degree because, "In a country overrun
with obesity and useless fad diets, there is certainly a chance
for someone with a passion in this arena to make a difference, and
hopefully I am able to." Marc also holds a Personal Training
Certification from AMF (American Muscle and Fitness).
Marc was offered a training position with the 3D Fit studio, which
he gratefully accepted. "I could not pass up the opportunity
to give others information; it is in my nature to help people change
the way they think about themselves." As a 3D Fit trainer,
Marc's goal for clients is for them to not only achieve and maintain
their goal but to surpass them and push to do things they never
thought they could do.
